You therefore want to keep your trusty car on the road as much as possible, and our Warranty Assist & Customer Care Packs are designed to do just that.
Bumper to Bumper, Inside and Out Protection
Whether it's something as major as a crash or something as minor as losing your keys, it's an inconvenience and often an expense you could do without. Our packs help protect you against the niggles and cost of problems not covered by your standard car insurance.

The Imperial Warranty Assist Pack consists of: Gold Warranty, Breakdown Recovery, F1 Paint & Interior Protection and Theft Protect. The Imperial Customer Care Pack consists of RTI/GAP Insurance, Key Protection, MOT Test Insurance and Misfuelling Insurance. All of these are explained in detail below:
  RTI / GAP
Buying a car is one of the largest purchases you may make during your lifetime, yet it is also one of the most vulnerable of all your investments. Car crime, insurance write-offs and depreciation are all hazards of modern motoring. Your insurance company may be able to cover most of the damage, but who will pay for the difference between your insurance company’s pay out and the invoice value of your car? Imperial Car Sales RTI Insurance covers this shortfall and in addition:
Claim limit up to £60,000
Reimburses you for up to £250 of your insurance excess
Protects your savings and your credit rating
Provides a simple claims process
Can help to ensure a quicker insurance settlement
Covers you across the EU
Is suitable for both cash and finance customers.
 
  Key
Key Protection has been designed to reduce the distress and worry of losing your keys, as well as the expense:
Up to £350 for any vehicle key and vehicle lock replacement
3 days car hire (up to £25 per day inclusive of VAT)
£25 towards any specialist call out charges
£10 reward paid directly to the finder.
Period of cover available: up to 3 years. If keys are lost, no claim can be made for 5 days unless the customer is stranded. Lost or stolen keys must be reported to police and APA within 48 hours.
 
  MOT Test Certificate
If your vehicle fails an MOT it can be stressful and costly, especially when you expected it to pass. We have designed our MOT Test Insurance to make this problem as stress free and manageable as we can. The insurance covers parts, labour and VAT; includes wear and tear on covered components. Components/Items covered:
Claim limit £300 per MOT
Lighting equipment
Steering and suspension
Brakes
Seats and seatbelts
Period of cover up to 3 years
Drivers view of the road (including wiper arm, wiper motor), horn, fuel parts.
Vehicle must have 3 months MOT left when purchased, £10 excess per claim, MOT must be done on the due date or within 30 days either side and the vehicle must be serviced. Applicable on vehicles up to 7 years / 80,000 miles.
 
  Misfuelling Insurance
It’s an easy mistake to make if you’re in a rush or have recently changed your vehicle – but a serious one. Fill your diesel vehicle with petrol or vice versa and and the damage could be extensive as well as inconvenient. The vehicle repair costs for the 150,000 drivers who made this mistake last year totalled £50 million. Add to that the inconvenience of having your vehicle of the road and the cost of this simple mistake could be more than financial.
Up to £100 towards recovery of the vehicle
Up to £1000 towards repairs of damaged components
Up to £30 a day for 3 days towards a replacement vehicle
Vehicle is then re-fuelled with £60 of the correct fuel!
Claims limit up to £1000 per annum. Period of cover up to 3 years.
 

All cover listed is subject to the terms and conditions in your agreement documents and are also subject to certain limitations in the maximum amount paid in the event of a claim.

The list of parts covered above is just an indication of the extensive parts covered by Imperial Cars Gold warranty. The cover is so comprehensive it's easier to tell you what's not covered than what is, the only exclusions are such things as HT leads, wiper blades/rubbers, hoses, pipes, light bulbs/units, batteries, exhaust systems, interior/exterior trim, paint, glass and general routine maintenance. Here are a few systems found in a vehicle, along with the average cost of their repairs:
The four-wheel drive's differential and transfer case, for example, has an average repair cost of £836.
Containing over a hundred parts, the air conditioner and heater system could incur repair costs as high as £686.
The brake system, which is also comprised of more than a hundred parts, has a average repair cost of £316.
If the cooling system breaks down, you can pay as much as £465 on average to get it fixed.
Drive axles and differentials have of over 70 parts and the price of their repairs falls between £500 and £1000.
Repair costs for your cars electrical system can reach £800.
You pay an average of £500 for repairs on the fuel system and £450 for the steering system.
